Our purpose is to bring together people interested in exploring the wonder of God’s creation through the lens of a camera. Members of all ages encourage one another and share their efforts to record nature, travels, people and memories. Anyone is welcome to join this club. We are here to teach one another through enjoyable activities and meetings, to make new friendships through a common interest, to support The Woodlands United Methodist Church through our photography, and to glorify God through it all.

    Membership and Club Dues
There are opportunities and programs that require funds from time to time. Membership dues of $15 per person or $20 per family per year are a voluntary (non-tax-deductable) gift toward the operations of the Camera Club, and enable us to expand our programs. Membership is not required to attend monthly meetings nor to have a name tag, however, all workshops and field trips require membership to attend.

Membership Application Forms: Please bring completed form (with payment in cash or a check written to “TWUMC") to the Welcome Table at the next full-club monthly Monday night meeting.  (Do NOT mail to the church!)  Forms are also available at the meeting.

    Share and Learn
    • Take some photos and share them with other members at the next meeting. We all want to know each other better and learn from all our experiences. Each month you can share up to three (3) photos.
    • E-mail your photos to photos@thewoodlandscameraclub.org by Friday midnight before the monthly meeting. We cannot guarantee that photos received after that date will be included.
    • If you need help with this, contact  Carolyn Townley (photos@thewoodlandscameraclub.org).
    •  Please send the best quality JPG image you can. You may downsize your image to 1920 pixels (longest side), but don’t upsize your images as that will reduce their quality.
    • Please send as attachments; no zip files please.
    • Always be sure you receive a response after you e-mail photos to be sure we received them.
